Romanian Marriage Cultures

A bridal is one of the few times when romanian people really go all out and dress up. Fancy fits for men, dresses and gowns for women and attired tresses and comprehensive nails are all the standard. The event is also a time to bring products of funds and presents for the bride and groom, which they collect as they leave the church and supper reception.

After the pie is served a unique dance known as “hora” is performed. The wife and all feminine friends start to waltz. Guys does meet but they have to pay a small sum of money and the collected number goes to the wife.
